Men’s Mental Health Month with Kenny from ANDYSMANCLUB

During Men’s Mental Health Month we wanted to shine a spotlight on a service that provides support to men within Midlothian and we reached out to Kenny from ANDYSMANCLUB to hear about the work they do and how they keep themselves well.

Do you live and/or work in Midlothian and want to share your own experiences of mental health and wellbeing and the different ways keep you well?

If you would like us to share your story, please email midspace@health-in-mind.org.uk

ANDYSMANCLUB are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. We want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation. #ITSOKAYTOTALK

We Hold Peer to peer support groups Every Monday 7pm (Except bank holidays) we hold over 150 Face to face meeting and online also including the likes of Livingston, Broxburn and Bathgate.

I am passionate about men’s mental health and ANDYSMANCLUB as I have struggled with depression for the past 9 years and ANDYSMANCLUB has given me that hope that life can get better. It has transformed my life around and all I want to do now is give more men out there some HOPE.

I often get away in my campervan to help with my own mental health but I also love the outdoors and cold water swimming.
