Thriving Transitions offers a safe, inclusive space to spend time, have fun, take part in a range of activities, access advice and develop important skills for life that are required for a positive transition into greater independence. There will be a free, hot meal on offer each week for those who come along. Attendees will be able to build their support networks and meet with other likeminded people, within a supportive, informal environment. The project is run by trained youth workers, with volunteers occasionally helping.
This project is free to attend, and young adults can come on Monday anytime from 6-8pm. On their first visit to us, we have a short membership form to fill out. If anyone would like to arrange a time to visit the project or contact us to find out more before attending, they can do so by phone or email.
Is there a cost?
The project is located on Bogwood Road, Mayfield. The building is fully accessible.
Thriving Transitions is open from 6-8pm on Monday nights. It is a drop-in, meaning that young adults can arrive at anytime during this window.
