Description

re:discover Midlothian is a distance befriending service.

Trained volunteers offer support via telephone or video calls to explore ways to use the current situation to promote positive wellbeing and self-care. This could be by exploring ways to connect, be active or learn something new.

Support usually takes place once per week for around 30-45 minutes and matches will last for 6 months.

The service is currently being offered by phone/video call on various days and times, including evenings. To arrange an appointment, please email your name and contact number to map@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk. A member of the team will call you within two working days.
