Description

Impactful Parents is a creative employability programme open to parents who live in Midlothian.

At the weekly sessions, participants will have fun trying new artistic activities led by our Creative Lead, and you will also receive 1-1 support and guidance to work towards next steps in your career paths led by our Wellbeing & Opportunities Worker.

We can help identify job opportunities, support with college applications, help with research into training programmes, and more. Participants will:

  • Meet like-minded people
  • Build your social connections
  • Build your confidence and employability skills

As this is a programme for parents to focus on themselves, we ask that no children are brought to the sessions.

The programme is free to attend, and Impact Arts will provide reimbursement for travel expenses. Refreshments will also be available.

Next course dates:

  • Wednesdays 10:00am-1:00pm, starting 23 September to 16 December 2026
