Hope Park Counselling Centre offers counselling to residents in the Edinburgh and Lothian area, aged 18 and over.

The centre is part of the University of Edinburgh and is a practice and research centre for counsellors in training.

Please note we do not offer counselling for students or staff at The University of Edinburgh.

This is a donation based service. Suggested donation between £2 and £35 per session.

Location information

  • Public pay and display parking is available on nearby streets.
  • We in the University of Edinburgh Central Area, close to a large number of major bus routes, and a 15 minute (0.8 mile) walk from Waverley train station.
  • Please note that there are steps to our building so it is unfortunately not fully accessible. We do offer online counselling as an alternative.
