Description

Become a Volunteer Mentor!

Move On runs two mentoring programmes for young people. Mentoring matches young people with volunteer mentors who support them to achieve goals.

We are looking for people who would like to spend a few hours a week with a young person. In Edinburgh and the Lothians we run Intandem mentoring for children aged 8-14 with care experience. You would collect them from home, take them out to a fun activity and drop them back.

We run training to become a mentor regularly, depending on interest, and needs of the service. Please get in touch.

How do I access this?

Is there a cost?

No cost, we can provide our volunteers with a float to cover activity costs, or reimbursement.

Is there a waiting list?

No
