Living Life is a team of self-help coaches and therapists, offering appointment-based telephone support based on cognitive behavioural therapy.
Anxiety, low mood and stress are common problems which we can experience from time to time. When these feelings persist, they can affect our daily life and lead to emotional distress.
Some people may recover in a few weeks on their own, while others need more specialist help and support.
Living Life is available to anyone over the age of 16 experiencing:
- low mood
- mild to moderate depression
- symptoms of anxiety
- a combination of these symptoms.
When you first phone Living Life you will be asked for:
- your name
- your contact details
- the reason you phoned
At this point, you may be offered an assessment appointment with one of our team or placed on our waiting list.
Following an assessment appointment, you will be offered a series of telephone support sessions with a self-help coach or therapist. Living Life is based on cognitive behavioural therapy, a type of ‘talking therapy’. Talking therapies can help you identify unhelpful ways of thinking and learn new ways of coping.
Through Living Life, you will be offered a series of telephone appointments with a self-help coach or therapist, who will talk you through specific materials and workbooks.
