Family Reachout – Midlothian Sure Start
Family Reachout is one of six centres run by Midlothian Sure Start, which aims to support families across Midlothian.
Family Reachout offers a community based family support service for young families in Mayfield, Easthouses, Newtongrange and surrounding areas. It is for families and carers with young children (generally aged 3 or under), who are looking for extra help and support.
- various groups including mums, dads, grandparents, Polish families, ante-natal and pre-natal, teenage groups, etc.

- parenting support
There is weekly support where registered families have time out to “chill out” and also to discuss, in a confidential setting, issues they may be finding it difficult to cope with in their every day lives. There is a bright, safe and stimulating playroom for the children where they will be encouraged to reach their full potential with the help of their parent/carer and trained staff.

- Spaces for the creche must be booked in advance by contacting the centre co-ordinator
- Creche facilities are not available at this location.
Public Transport Information
Buses 3,86, 3a and 86a.
Bus 29 stops at Mayfield roundabout, but there is only a short walk to the project
You can gain access round the back of library from St Lukes Primary School.
You will pass main gates of primary school to enter into the project.
