Bridges Project – Support2Succeed Service

Bridges Project is an independent, local charity which works with young people in East Lothian and Midlothian to help them manage the transition from adolescence to young adulthood and life beyond school.

Three practice teams deliver our work and objectives; Transitions, Skills for Life and Employability

Service Description

This service aims to improve the health and wellbeing of young people, including young parents, aged 16 to 25 years in East Lothian and Midlothian.

A Personal Development Worker and Personal Development Tutor provide intensive individual support and a range of accredited learning and social group work opportunities, which focus on improving confidence, tackling social anxiety, increasing activity and engaging with learning.

The intention is to enable young people to progress towards achieving social, educational and employment goals and to having purposeful, engaged lives.
