Long COVID

While most people recover quickly from coronavirus (COVID-19), some people may have ongoing symptoms. These can last for a few weeks or longer. This has been referred to as long COVID.

As this is a new condition, understanding is developing all the time. Experts are learning more about how long symptoms will last, and it will vary from person to person. We will continue to add to this page as more resources become available.

Here you can find factsheets, tips and information, organisations, apps, podcasts, and services available in Midlothian, which can help you better understand the challenges those with long COVID face and ways you can help and support yourself and others.
