Take the lead in your wellbeing journey this International Women’s Day
26 February 2026
International Women’s Day is Sunday 8 March 2026. Each year, it marks a moment to come together for the rights and empowerment of all women and girls.
This year’s theme is ‘Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.’ The UN is calling for action to dismantle barriers to equality that erode the rights of women and girls.
It also offers an opportunity to empower women to take the lead in their wellbeing journey in their own lives, whatever that looks like for them. For example:
- Setting your own goals
Setting your own wellbeing goals helps you focus on what matters most to you, and fits you and your life best. - Taking small, achievable actions towards keeping well
Starting small can help boost your confidence when you achieve your own goals. - Building a supportive circle around you
Connecting with people who respect and encourage you is powerful – and it’s one of the five ways to wellbeing. - Celebrating your progress
Celebrate your wins, both big and small. When you acknowledge your progress, it boost your motivation to keep taking positive steps.
