One way to boost your wellbeing in light of COVID is to gain a greater sense of ‘mattering’, and you can do this by volunteering and the Scouts are currently looking for volunteers.

You can register to attend a virtual information evening to find out more about flexible volunteering opportunities with them. The event takes place: Thursday 27 January at 7.30pm. https://sesscouts.org.uk/midlothian-scouts-virtual-volunteering-information-event/

Scouts is both a young persons and adults experience – making friends, trying something new, doing something good for both your community and yourself and importantly making memories.

Scouts everyday adventure is possible thanks to our adult volunteers who support them in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a Group, to being a charity Trustee.

Scouts help volunteers get the most out of their experiences by providing flexible opportunities for adventure, training, fun and friendship. Why not take a look here for more information and get in touch with them for an informal chat –https://sesscouts.org.uk/midlothian-scouts-virtual-volunteering-information-event/
