The University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian are looking for participants for a research study examining hospital care experiences of patients who have a mental illness and who have been admitted to hospital for a heart attack.

If you take part, you will be asked to participate in a one-to-one interview (with a close relative or carer if you agree to this) by a video call, telephone or in-person, as you prefer. We will ask you about your experiences of hospital care during your admission with a heart attack.

Ultimately, this work will contribute to ensuring that patients with mental ill-health receive the best possible care for physical health problems, like heart attacks.
